EXPLORING FOOD IN BARCELONA
It was a beautiful day in Summer and this time I was in Barcelona with two of my friends. We had explored the port and needed a break from sight seeing so we went to this pretty restaurant called El-Tinglado which was very homely and had this IKEA kitchen/living room set up going on. Colorful pillows, plants and beautiful lamps. We ordered 3 different meals so we could try each one out. I am a travel foodie and I love trying new cuisines. The Paella, Lobster and Sea Bass were on fleek!!. When in Barcelona visit El-Tinglado.
Feyikewa Animashaun: Crossing the border of Thailand to Cambodia.
Crossing the border of Thailand to Cambodia by bus was an adventure in its self. The buses are not allowed to go beyond a certain point when you get to the border so we had to walk the rest of the way. Imagine carrying a 60 litre backpack in the scorching sun, waiting for a fed up looking Cambodian to check your passport and visa. I digress, because the real adventure started once I got to the city of Siem Reap, home to the beautiful Ankor Wat temple. The temple among tourists is famous for its breath taking sunrise experience. As a result I got up at 4 o’clock to catch the sunrise and it was worth it. I had never seen so many different colours in the sky and the temple was such an amazing backdrop.

ENEFAA: PARADISE IN NIGERIA, OBUDU MOUNTAIN RESORT.
I am not going to try and wax poetic on my experience at the Obudu Mountain Resort. This could end up becoming a long read and I would rather you just go to the resort and experience it for yourself.I had been looking for somewhere to take a road trip to in Nigeria and the Obudu Mountain Resort seemed like the perfect choice. After deciding on Obudu, deciding how to get there proved more problematic than I had originally envisaged when I made the choice
Things To Consider Before Choosing a Travel Destination
- BUDGET: Personally before I embark on any trip the first thing I think about is how much I am willing to spend on the trip not where or what kind of holiday I want to have. So I reflect on my bank account which I am always afraid to check because I am always in one place or the other if not exploring most likely eating, basically forming activity. This then helps me choose a country that will fit my budget because it is really painful dreaming of a destination and then you realise you cannot afford it at the moment. Actually this applies to people who are really spontaneous and just want to travel within 1-2 months. If you have more time, I guess you can choose a destination first then save towards it especially if it’s a costly destination or dream one.
Layo & Sikemi: Weekend Getaway to Paphos, Cyprus.

Lolu: A Nigerian in Cuba.
I went to Cuba for 3 weeks in December as part of a school mini term. Twenty-three people from my school went on the trip, which was partly organized by Havana Tours, a state run company for tourists. Almost all the businesses in Cuba are state run, though the government is beginning to give a bit of leeway for some private enterprises. But just a bit. Half of my time was spent in Havana (the capital) and the rest were spent in Santa Clara, Trinidad and Santiago.
